Facilities

The Beach Escape is a self contained two bedroom house, with all the modern amenities you require for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The property sleeps five, with additional space for a port-a-cot.

Internet

We have free WiFi available to our guests. The connection details are located in the Guest information guide located at the property and in the information email sent before you arrive.

Master bedroom

The spacious master bedroom offers spectacular views of the beach and bay - no need to get out of bed to enjoy the view!
Have a peaceful sleep listening to the waves wash up on the beach in the queen size bed,  or watch your favourite show on the 40" LCD TV. There is also a built in wardrobe. If required you can also fit a port-a-cot in the room.

All bedding is provided.

Second bedroom

The second bedroom features a sturdy wooden bunk bed, with a roll out trundle bed if you need to sleep three. There is a built in wardrobe, and space for a port-a-cot if the trundle bed is not used.

All bedding is provided.

Kitchen

The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm including:

• tea / coffee making facilities
• fridge / freezer
• microwave oven
• toaster
• kettle
• dishwasher
• gas stove top
• electric oven
• electric beaters
• toasted sandwich maker
• kids plastic IKEA dinner set (bowls, plates and cups)

Dining room

The separate dining room has seating for up to 8 guests.

Bathroom

There is a large bathroom with a toilet, double sink, separate shower and bath, hair dryer, as well as an additional separate toilet.

Towels (both beach and bath) are provided.

Living room

The living room is the perfect place to relax and take in the breathtaking view. It features a 40" LCD TV, Blu ray / DVD player, large selection of movies for both adults and kids, an XBOX 360  with 2 controllers + Kinect and heaps for games for both adults and kids, as well as a Bluetooth stereo.

There is a selection of books and board games to entertain all ages.

Laundry

The laundry features a front loader washing machine, ironing board and iron. There is a clothes line in the backyard to dry your clothes and clothes airer to dry clothes inside.

Kids play area

Inside, the kids play area features books and toys for a variety of ages. Outside there is a kids play area with a large sandpit, cubby-house and gnome table / seats for the kids to eat at. For more information please see our Entertaining the Kids at The Beach Escape section.

Outdoors

The backyard is fully fenced and gated. You can sit back and relax on the deck whilst the kids play. Out the front, there is a large deck with breathtaking views of the beach, the bay, and across to Hobart and Mount Wellington. Outside there is a 4 burner BBQ with side burner, table and chairs to seat 6.
