Things to do at The Beach Escape

At the Beach Escape there is heaps the kids can do without even leaving the property.

In the back yard

The fully enclosed back yard features an awesome play set with rock climbing wall, pirates lookout and slide. There is also an artificial grassed play area with a gnome table and chairs that is just perfect for the little ones to have their lunch whilst the adults sit back on the deck. The play area also has a large sandpit with lots of sand toys including dump trucks, buckets and spades that will keep them entertained for hours.

If they need a break from the sandpit, then they will love the cubby house to play and use their imaginations in.

Also for use in the back yard is a totum tennis pole (with 2 bats) to practice hand eye coordination.

The kids will also enjoy watching the butterflys as they flutter around the flower bushes.

XBox 360 games console

The XBox 360 comes with a large selection of games for both adults and kids. The console has two wireless hand controllers and also has a motion sensing Kinect controller that is used in a number of games that will give you a good work out - you'll be entertained by the antics of the players as they jump around the room playing the game! Thankfully there is plenty of room to move around in the lounge room. Game types include sports, fitness, car racing, dancing, quiz, Disney Infinity, and more.

Kids play area

If you have younger kids, they will love the play area inside. It features a play tent to play hide-and-seek in, a selection of childrens story and chapter books, lots of cars, planes, Little People, Tupperware toys and many more. This area is tucked away from the main living area, so whilst the kids play you can relax with a good book.

Board games, puzzles and drawing

We also have a selection of puzzles, books and games suitable for various ages. Games include Trivial Pursuit, The Logo Board game, Monopoly, Boggle, Pass the Bomb, Uno, MindTrap and Twister to name a few. There are also jigsaw puzzles, pickup sticks and playing cards. So if you are having a day indoors we have things covered!
